Job Description Job Description Job Title : Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Location : Skokie, IL 60076 Job Type : Direct Hire Salary Range : $100,000 – $140,000 About the Role : Join a high-performance team leading the transformation of our Skokie manufacturing facility. In this role, you will drive critical improvement projects that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and overall operational efficiency. You’ll play a key part in developing and executing a five-year manufacturing excellence roadmap — incorporating advanced manufacturing technologies, lean concepts, and process optimization strategies. What You’ll Do : Lead manufacturing improvement projects from concept through execution Build project scopes, timelines, milestones, and ROI models Manage capital equipment planning, budgeting, and vendor engagement Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and complexity Research new technologies and propose innovative solutions Coordinate cross-functional deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes Identify risks and develop mitigation plans Communicate project progress to leadership and stakeholders What You Bring : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment Strong project management and organizational skills Hands-on experience with lean tools and continuous improvement Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization Passion for innovation, advanced manufacturing, and process optimization Benefits : This direct-hire role offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid time off.
