At Drexel Building Supply, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic 'Quarterback' to lead our sales team, ensuring that we consistently deliver top-tier service and solutions to our clients in the construction and renovation industry. This role requires an individual who excels in leadership and has a deep understanding of the construction materials market. You will be the driving force behind our sales strategy, directing the flow of business, setting targets, and rallying your team to achieve and exceed them. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly. Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates. Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs. Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve specific sales targets. Maintain relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to negotiate and close deals. In-depth knowledge of the construction and building materials industry. Ability to develop strategic sales plans and forecasts. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification in Sales Management (CSM) is preferred. Professional Certification in Building and Construction Materials is a plus.
