Job Description:
SpiderRock Advisors, LLC (“SRA”), headquartered in Chicago, IL,
is rapidly growing technology-enabled provider of portfolio
enhancement solutions to the wealth management and institutional
allocator segments of the ~$80 trillion global asset management
industry. SRA specializes in the design and implementation of
customized derivative enhancement and overlay strategies and other
alternative strategies for wealth managers and their clients. Many
prominent investment advisors and have adopted the SRA platform to
have access to its innovative portfolio enhancement strategies,
thus driving its growth in assets under management. We are seeking
a dynamic and experienced VP/Director to lead our internal sales
and client service teams. This individual will play a critical role
in driving firm-wide sales initiatives, team development, client
engagement, and internal enablement. The role will work closely
with SRA sales and business leadership and across BlackRock’s US
Wealth Advisory (“USWA”) Product Pillars, sales leadership,
investment partners, marketing, and other functions to develop
communication plans, manage multilateral projects, cross-functional
initiatives, and processes. The manager will enable the team by
commercializing campaigns and developing solutions to drive the
long-term vision for SRA’s product sales growth and client
retention. This role requires the ability to learn quickly,
innovate, influence, and manage projects. The role will need to
able to balance strategic thinking with effective execution while
managing multiple strategic projects simultaneously. Primary
Responsibilities: • Develop and implement internal sales team
strategy, including engagement campaigns, lead generation, and
performance metrics with a focus on scaled engagement, client
satisfaction and retention. • Align sales goals with firm-wide
strategic objectives, working closely with senior leadership,
product, and investment teams. • Lead regular sales reviews and
performance reporting to drive accountability and results. •
Champion a consultative sales culture and coach team members on
best practices and technical fluency. • Foster a culture of
collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. •
Implement training and onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring
rapid ramp-up and team integration. • Oversee the client onboarding
experience, partnering with operations, sales and service teams to
ensure seamless transitions from prospect to client. • Manage
development, tracking, and updates of 201-401 level marketing and
sales collateral. • Collaborate with marketing, compliance, and
investment teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of materials. •
Provide feedback loops from client-facing teams to inform product
innovation and communication strategies, including designing and
implementing CRM. Skills : • Collegial team player able to form
strong relationships within the team and across groups. •
Demonstrated project management and organizational skills. •
Meticulous attention to detail, ability to juggle conflicting
priorities and comfortable with ambiguity. • Excellent verbal and
written communication skills with ability to synthesize &
commercialize complex information • Professional level of written
and verbal communication skills required to prepare and present
sales plans and materials. • Investment and product knowledge with
passion for product details – options expertise a plus. • Committed

all. Requirements : • 7-10 years of experience in asset management
or financial services sales, with leadership experience strongly
preferred. • Proven track record of managing internal sales or
service teams and driving sales results. • Deep understanding of
asset management products; options or derivative overlay experience
is a plus. • Strong project management skills with the ability to
lead cross-functional initiatives. • Excellent verbal and written
communication skills; highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel. •
Experience managing CRM systems and sales enablement platforms. •
BA/BS degree required. • NASD Series 24, Series 7 and 66 preferred.
For Chicago, IL Only the salary range for this position is
USD$120,000.00 - USD$163,500.00 . Additionally, employees are
eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including
healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock
