Grinder/Finisher - 2nd shiftAre you a master of metal refinement? Do you wield finishing tools with finesse? If so, we want you to be a part of our dynamic team!Job Summary:As a Finisher, you'll be the architect of excellence in our fabrication process. Your main mission? Preparing work-in-progress (WIP) or raw materials for the next operation with precision and care. Under general supervision, you'll interpret finishing specifications and tackle various material preparation tasks, from grinding to deburring. Your expertise will be instrumental in assembling components that exceed customer expectations, all while adhering to our Six Sigma principles.Job Duties:Reviewing and interpreting job orders to ensure flawless execution.Performing material preparation tasks such as grinding, scraping, and deburring.Conducting pressure tests and other quality assessments to guarantee top-notch products.Inspecting work meticulously to ensure specifications are met.Schedule: 2nd shift 1:30pm to 12:00am Monday thru Thursday with Overtime as neededPay: $18.00 per hourRequirements:Lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, with occasional assistance for loads up to 100 pounds.Working at heights of up to 10 feet.Meeting vision requirements for close, distance, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.Bring at least three years of finishing/welding-type experience in a metal fabrication environment.Ability to conduct various testing procedures and interpret results accurately.Skill in using and maintaining finishing equipment and related tools.Forklift operator certification is a plus!This Client who we are staffing for participates in the E-Verify program.
