Fabrication LeadReady to take charge of a dynamic fabrication environment? We're seeking an experienced leader to drive on-time production, tackle equipment challenges, and mentor a skilled team. If you have extensive experience in fabrication and thrive in a fast-paced, high-mix environment, we want to hear from you!Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for on-time completion of manufacturing schedule. The Lead will assign work to all department employees and plan workflow according to production capabilities and schedule.Troubleshoots all Fabrication area equipment and machinery problems; directs repairs; assists in identifying additional equipment needsTrains (or oversees training of) all employees to maintain staff proficiency in all area tasks.Upholds work rules, assists and counsels employees, and initiates disciplinary measures as needed.Monitors all work-in-progress and spot-checks completed jobs to ensure that specifications are metReport on Key Performance Indicators at towers and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from the strategic quarterly and annual plan so that each employee is aware of expectations and deliverablesPosition Requirements:Ten or more years of fabrication experience, minimum of 5 years as a lead/supervisor in a high mix low volume manufacturing environmentFrequent standing, walking, and bending required.Working knowledge of the standard practices and methods of fabrication.Ability to read blueprints and job requirements.Knowledge of fabrication equipment, material characteristics and structural fundamentals.Skill in using and maintaining fabrication equipment and related tools of the machines.Knowledge of occupational hazards and the ability to follow safe work practices.Basic knowledge of PC programs, Excel, Word and OutlookThis Client who we are staffing for participates in the E-Verify program.
