PSG/CIP is a multi-service community-based social services organization that fulfills its mission of helping individuals and families to achieve their greatest potential through dynamic, cost effective and innovative programming responsive to the needs of diverse communities.JOB SUMMARY:The Youth Worker provides direct support to adjudicated, emotionally disturbed, and other high-risk youth who are unable to function in a conventional educational setting. This position works with students and their families to determine and implement the most appropriate educational options.SALARY: $18.00 per hour Plus $2000 sign-on bonus! OFFICE LOCATION: Position is based in Kenosha, WI and works a hybrid model of time spent within the school, at the office, and out in the community. Hours are typically Monday-Friday during school hours with occasional evening hours to accommodate the needs of the program.WHY WORK FOR PSG/CIP?

  • Interview and evaluate clients and families to complete the intake process.
  • Maintain one-on-one contact in school and family contact as needed.
  • Monitor client's attendance, behavior, and grades. Report these findings to parents and other providers.
  • Analyze client situations, capabilities, and problems to determine services required to meet clients' treatment needs.
  • Formulate, implement, evaluate, and review individual client's Plans of Care.
  • Organize and facilitate structured group, individual, and/or family activities.
  • Organize and facilitate Community Service Work hours and Service Learning Projects on a weekly basis.
  • Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.
  • Provide supervision and support to youth placed in the Summer Youth Employment Program.
  • Safely transport clients as needed.
    
    Requirements:
