The Assistant Supervisor assists in the supervision of workers in
the Resource Development Program. This position also coordinates
placements of foster children into appropriate foster homes, is
responsible for conducting re-licensing studies for current foster
homes and assists with program recruitment and retention.
SALARY: $24.00 per hour

Coordinate placements for foster children to match their needs to
Conduct comprehensive foster care re-licensing studies and
evaluations and ensure applicants are in compliance with DCF 56
Facilitate Foundation Training and Pre-Placement Training for
Maintain contact and provide support to foster parents.
Possess proficient knowledge of foster care and child care rules
Promote retention through the re-licensing process.
Maintain up-to-date foster parent training records.
Collaborate with the Kenosha County Division of Human Services case
workers who make referrals for placement and make appropriate
Attend unit meetings at Kenosha County Division of Human Services
Assist with program recruitment and retention.
Responsible for handling all calls timely and appropriately on
placement phone, weekdays between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Assist in the hiring, training, supervising, evaluating and
disciplining of program staff.
Assist with monthly and quarterly reports.
Participate in the monitoring of the program budgets.
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or
other related field required.
Must have one year of experience working in a social service agency
