Job Description Job Description Huber Cabinet Works is seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team. We are a union architectural millwork company specializing in high-end commercial interiors throughout Chicagoland. Our projects include corporate headquarters, Class A office spaces, hospitality environments, and specialty commercial interiors, working alongside some of Chicago’s most respected general contractors. We are looking for craftsmen who take pride in precision, efficiency, and producing work that meets the highest commercial standards. Key Responsibilities - Fabricate and assemble custom cabinetry, casework, and architectural millwork components - Interpret shop drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication. - Operate woodworking tools and machinery safely and efficiently, including routers, table saws, edge banders, and related equipment - Work with a variety of materials including plywood, MDF, veneer panels, plastic laminate, solid wood, and composite materials - Collaborate with the Shop Foreman and fellow cabinetmakers to maintain steady production flow - Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace - Uphold high standards of craftsmanship, fit, and finish on all projects Qualifications - Experience in a custom architectural millwork or cabinet shop preferred - Strong ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings - Proficiency with woodworking tools and fabrication equipment - Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality - Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team - Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment What We Offer - Union benefits and pension - Competitive pay based on experience - Stable, established Chicago company with long-term growth - Opportunity to work on complex, high-profile commercial projects Company Description Wm.
