In your role as a CDLB Operator, you will drive our distinctive blue trucks and be a pivotal part of our daily operations by servicing assigned routes efficiently and safely. Your primary task will involve the collection and transportation of waste and recyclables, ensuring these materials reach their designated facilities punctually. This position is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and sustainability of our communities, reflecting Republic Services' commitment to environmental stewardship. Operate a CDL Class B vehicle following all safety protocols. Collect and transport waste and recyclable materials on assigned routes. Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Adhere to the route schedules to ensure timely service. Collaborate with dispatchers and the operations team to improve route efficiencies. Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste transportation. Provide excellent service to customers, maintaining professionalism at all times. Safe driving skills with a strong adherence to road safety regulations. Ability to maneuver heavy vehicles in various weather and traffic conditions. Effective communication and customer service skills. Basic knowledge of maintenance and vehicle inspection protocols.
