Job Description:

Drexel Building Supply is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Delivery Coordinator to join our Transportation & Logistics team. As an integral player in our operations, you will oversee the scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of deliveries for building materials, ensuring timely and accurate distribution in alignment with company goals. Your role focuses on optimizing delivery routes, liaising with drivers and customers, and maintaining accurate records. Your expertise helps us continue to provide personalized, high-quality services that our clients trust for their construction and renovation needs. Plan and coordinate delivery schedules based on client requirements and resource availability Communicate effectively with warehouse managers, drivers, and customers to ensure on-time deliveries Track and report on delivery status, addressing any delays or issues promptly Review and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage Ensure compliance with safety standards and transportation regulations Assist in the training and development of new transportation staff Strong organizational and planning skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficient in GPS and routing software Ability to handle stressful situations and make decisions quickly Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid driver’s license Certification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (CLSCMP) – preferred
