13 weeks Shift: 3rd 12-hour nights, float as needed, every other
weekend Hours per Shift: 36.00 Experience: Minimum of two years of
nursing education License: Current state Registered Nurse License
or Multi-state Nursing License Certifications: - American Heart
Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or
an equivalent - AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
for healthcare providers or an equivalent Must-Have: - Cardiac
Telemetry Care experience - Experience working with a diverse
patient population, including MI, CHF, COPD, strokes, stable
arrhythmias, and other patients needing closer cardiac monitoring
and assessment Description: The Registered Nurse is a practitioner
responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating
nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient
environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the
delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The role
incorporates essential functions which are adapted from the ANA
Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. Patient population
includes those undergoing interventional cardiac catheterization
procedures, acute MI, CHF, COPD, as well as acute stroke and other
patients necessitating closer cardiac monitoring and assessment.
The Registered Nurse also provides care for patients requiring
peritoneal dialysis, IV antiarrhythmics, insulin infusions, BiPap,
and those on home ventilators. Requirements Required for Onboarding
