Job Description:
Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the
ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on
Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people
overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions,
trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients
to live freely. About This Role Compass Health is seeking an
Associate Director for our Adolescent Program with a focus on our
Evening IOP Program. You will work closely with the Program
Director to lead the Adolescent Team, while continuing to
participate in active patient care. If you are passionate about
helping other clinicians grow, and concurrently being given the
opportunity to remain an expert in your clinical skills, you would
be a great addition to our team. Our location in Northbrook is our
first and largest facility and consists not only of our widest
variety of programs, but also serves as a pilot site for many of
our new treatment offerings. Program hours run 10am-6pm Monday thru
Friday. What You'll Do: Assist Program Director and Senior Director
in overseeing quality of care in Adolescent EIOP program Provide
primary individual therapy and group therapy as needed Development
and implementation of program material and curriculum Communicate
with patients’ family members or support system, as needed
Coordinate care with patients’ outside providers to ensure
continuity of care Communicate with patients’ home school Create
individualized weekly schedules for each patient based on need
Assess patients’ progress and need for higher level of care or
discharge Chart progress of patients appropriately Provide
information about program to potential referral sources Provide
clinical supervision for staff working toward licensure Manage
staff working within program Ensure that all adolescent program
activities are aligned with Compass values and mission statement
Participate in professional development activities Oversee initial
and continuing insurance needs of patients through frequent
communication with Utilization Review Team Actively engage in
adolescent program development and expansion Participate in
interviews with Program Director, as needed Meet with Program
Director on a regular basis for supervision/consultation Who You
Are: • Licensed Doctorate Level Psychologist or Master’s level
clinician with clinical experience conducting intakes, assessments,
individual, family, and group therapy • Internal applicants must
have experience successfully implementing organizational
initiatives including Optimal Outcomes and Access to Care. •
Internal applicants must be Senior-level or above • Knowledge and
experience of group dynamics utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other
empirically supported treatments • Experience with patients in
crisis • Program development and implementation experience •
Experience supervising therapists, both licensed and seeking
licensure Excellent time management skills, ability to juggle
multiple demands simultaneously in a fast paced and changing

below. This range includes multiple career path levels across the
organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a
number of factors including, but not limited to, your years of
experience, type of experience, location, and
education/certifications. Compass reserves the right to update
these ranges. This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus
which is dependent upon individual and company performance.
Compensation $78,000 - $98,000 USD We know job descriptions can be
