Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,236 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/11/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in similar role License: Wisconsin or compact license required during compliance Certifications: BLS, RRT, ACLS required in hand, pending NIHSS certification accepted Must-Have: - Critical care experience - Excellent communication skills - Team collaboration Description: Respiratory therapist responsible for providing oxygen therapy and ventilator management. Perform breathing treatments, bedside pulmonary function tests, and arterial blood gas analysis. Work in various settings including the emergency department, medical surgical, intensive care units, post-anesthesia care units, ambulatory, and stepdown units. Provide care for patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. Demonstrated skills in adult critical care and emergency department practices. Experience with extubation and intubation assistance, oral and nasal airway management, and sputum specimen collection. Proficient in tracheostomy care and management, as well as troubleshooting high-pressure alarms on ventilators. Engage in the weaning process from mechanical ventilation and administer non-invasive ventilation therapies. Participate in interdisciplinary support involving various medical teams. Knowledge and experience in handling special procedures and equipment, including bedside bronchoscopies and using various ventilators and respiratory care technologies. This role requires flexibility to cover 4 weekend shifts as per contract. Candidate must be prepared to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
