TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified
ICU/Critical Care RN in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, 53158! Job
Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Hours per Shift: 12
hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required
License: Must have a Compact License Certifications: BLS, ACLS,
NIHSS Must-Have: - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS in hand at submission - 2
supervisor references within 1 year, including one from the most
recent/current assignment - Strong CRRT skills Description:
Variable schedule with flexibility needed between shifts.
Guaranteed hours are not specified. Required to float to IMCU
(stepdown) if necessary. Scheduling is done four weeks in advance,
with consideration given for transitioning between day and night
shifts. Travel experience is required. Epic charting system
experience is preferred. Patient ratio experience of 2-3 patients
per nurse. Charge experience is preferred but not mandatory. The
ideal candidate will possess skills in accessing/managing ports,
arterial line management, and blood product administration.
Experience in caring for ventilated patients and managing central
lines is essential. Familiarity with monitoring technologies, such
as CVP and pulmonary artery lines, is an advantage. Knowledge of
procedures like chest tube insertion/removal and management of
BiPAP/CPAP is required. Candidates should also be able to interpret
arterial blood gases and manage dysrhythmias. Preparation to handle
both acute and chronic renal failure cases is expected. Experience
in trauma and medical intensive care units is valued. Current
certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory for
consideration. Candidates must be able and willing to work weekends
based on staffing needs. Local candidates are accepted at a lower
