Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a compassionate and diligent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will be integral in providing top-tier nursing care and support to patients undergoing rehabilitation and hospice services. Our goal is to assist patients in regaining independence after serious illnesses or injuries, and your expertise in nursing will help us achieve this mission. This position requires a commitment to patient-centered care, adherence to health and safety guidelines, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients within rehabilitation and hospice settings. Monitor patient health and document nursing care activities. Assist with the execution of physician-prescribed treatments and medications. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share insights and improve patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatments, and home care strategies. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of personal and health information. Proficiency in administering medications and treatments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent observational and problem-solving abilities. Capability to work as a part of a team and under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification is a plus.
