Therapist Elementary School Setting Location: Waukegan, IL
Employment Type: Full Time (Monday to Friday) Assignment Duration:
Immediate start through March 20, 2026 (Maternity Leave Coverage) A
dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist is sought for a
full-time assignment in an elementary school setting located in
Waukegan, IL. This role will primarily support an elementary
caseload, delivering both direct and indirect therapy services
focused on student development and functional skills enhancement.
Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized occupational therapy
evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring in alignment
with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate
with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support
student success and inclusion within the school environment.
Maintain detailed documentation to ensure compliance with school
and state guidelines. Manage caseload efficiently within guaranteed
contracted hours without additional district responsibilities such
as bus duty or parent pickup. Desired Qualifications and
Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in
school-based settings. Strong understanding of pediatric
occupational therapy principles and interventions. Ability to work
effectively with children in an educational environment and adapt
to diverse student needs. Excellent communication and teamwork

Travel therapists are eligible for stipends if applicable.

Compensation for this position ranges from $39.46 to $59.46.
