CT Tech Location: Lake Geneva, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,510 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: WI-DSPS radiographer license Certifications: ARRT registered in Radiography; ARRT registered in CT; AHA Provider BLS/CPR required Must-Have: Active status in the modalities practiced Description: We are seeking a Multi-Modality Technologist for night shift hours. The schedule consists of 36 hours per week, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 PM to 7 AM. The candidate must maintain active status in the modalities practiced. Assistance to the department coordinator by providing clinical leadership, completing projects, and conducting advanced level clinical duties will be required. Competence in all exams performed within the assigned modalities is essential. Corroboration of patient clinical history with procedures is necessary, ensuring documentation is available for use by the radiologist. Preparation of patients for procedures involves providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety. The candidate must select and operate imaging equipment and accessories to successfully perform procedures. Positioning patients to best demonstrate the anatomic area of interest while respecting patient ability and comfort is critical. Immobilization of patients, as necessary, will be performed with care. Aseptic technique must be practiced as required. Preparation and administration of contrast media may be necessary, including initiation and maintenance of intravenous access. Basic life support actions should be initiated when necessary. Providing patient education is a key responsibility of this role. Input for supply and equipment decisions will be expected, along with maintenance of inventory and supplies for the assigned area. Practical instruction for students and partners will also be part of the role. Observance of universal protocol, standard precautions, and appropriate patient identifiers is mandatory.
