TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified
ICU/Critical Care RN in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, 54241! Job Title: RN
- Critical Care ICU Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Nursing
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36
Experience: 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS,
PALS Must-Have: ICU experience, ventilator management, chest tube
management, ability to read and interpret strips, experience with
general medical/surgical patients and strokes. Description: This
position involves working in a critical care environment. The
facility is a Level IV Trauma Center and a Primary Stroke Center.
There are 6 ICU beds and 12 stepdown beds. The patient population
includes those with sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, acute
respiratory distress syndrome, multi-system failure, alcohol and
substance abuse disorders, complicated post-operative cases,
post-cardiac arrest, and COVID-19. Adequate personal protective
equipment (PPE) is provided. Patient ratios are based on acuity:
ICU 1:1-3, Stepdown 1:4-5. There is support on the unit with a CNA
ratio of 1:10. RNs are assisted with phlebotomy. A hospitalist is
available 24/7. Tele-monitoring services are centralized with a
telemetry technician. The charting system is integrated with EPIC.
Floating to medical surgical units may be necessary. Weekend
rotations are required, occurring every other weekend. There is no
on-call requirement. Holiday expectations will apply as needed. 5
