Job Description Gastroenterologist - Pleasant Prairie, WI (NEW GRAD'S ACCEPTABLE) Job Type - Full Time Shift - Days (Mon - Fri) Summary:- We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join a growing, collaborative medical group. Candidates with experience, specialized expertise, or a strong interest in gastroenterology are encouraged to apply. Recently trained fellows are also welcome, as flexibility and support are available. This role includes a balanced mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and procedural responsibilities. The physician will participate in an evening and weekend call rotation, shared among a team of Gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers. Key Responsibilities:- - Evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, treatment, and management of diseases and disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, including: - Esophagus, Stomach, Small and large intestine, Liver, Pancreas, Gallbladder and biliary system - Performing gastrointestinal procedures, including: - Colonoscopy, Upper endoscopy - Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) Qualifications:- - Valid Wisconsin medical license (or eligibility) - Board eligible or board certified through: - American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) - American Osteopathic Association (AOA) - Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency - Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively - Intellectual curiosity, motivation, and commitment to high-quality patient care Benefits:- - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off - Malpractice insurance - Continuing medical education (CME) reimbursement - Professional dues and subscription reimbursement - Short- and long-term disability coverage - Life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance - Cell phone reimbursement - Employer-matched retirement plan (403(b)) - Relocation assistance available
