Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,440 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, 53158! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year with travel experience required License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratios of 2:1 - Epic charting system experience preferred Description: Start date is as soon as possible. Shifts are 4x10s covering days and evenings. Call is approximately 4-5 times a month, including weekend call. Local candidates are accepted at a lower rate. Required experience includes 1 year with prior travel experience. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and a compact state license. First-time travelers are not accepted. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 40. The unit performs various surgeries including general, orthopedic, and neuro procedures. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. All candidates must possess the required experience in PACU. Background checks will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. A latex allergy cannot be accommodated. Travel pairs are accepted. Modules are non-billable if completed within the first 8 hours of orientation. 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Facing new challenges regularly builds resilience.
