Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and a current BLS and state license (pending OK) for an orthopedic setting. Responsibilities - Outpatient orthopedic clinic with private treatment rooms for each therapist - Patients seen for 60-minute evaluations and follow-up treatments - Day shift: 5x8 hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM - Clinic staff includes 4 PTs and 1 PTA - Pelvic Floor or Lymphedema certified therapists may see those patient populations - Epic EMR experience preferred - Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius at a different rate - Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations and personalized follow-up treatments for orthopedic patients - No first-time travelers will be considered for this position - Return staff must be gone at least 1 year before returning - Travel pairs are accepted - Modules are to be completed during the first 8 hours of orientation - Clinic cannot accommodate staff with latex allergies - Professional dress code as appropriate for an outpatient clinic Requirements - Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required - Current BLS certification required - Wisconsin or compact state PT license required (pending accepted); license required if applicable - Epic documentation experience preferred Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-641058.
