Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,240 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/17/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years in oncology License: Wisconsin/Compact License required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Previous oncology clinic experience - Prior travel experience Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for an oncology setting. The position requires a strong background in oncology nursing. The nurse will be responsible for triaging patient phone calls. The role includes answering electronic messaging inquiries. The nurse will enter physician orders, including labs and diagnostics. Following up on treatment plans and genetic testing is essential. The nurse will arrange and coordinate diagnostics for patients. Patient education about chemotherapy will be part of the role. The nurse will closely collaborate with infusion and radiation teams. Direct coordination of patient care with physicians is expected. Support for advanced practice providers will be provided. Tracking INR patients and managing medications will be necessary. The nurse will also follow up with iron infusion patients. Candidates must have experience with a fast-paced medical hematology/oncology clinic environment. Skills in recognizing and communicating abnormal lab values are important. Candidates should possess the ability to provide patient and family education and support.
