Job Description Protouch Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Intermediate Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/21/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN - Intermediate Care (IMC) - Travel Shift: 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM Facility: UW Health University Hospital Location: Madison, WI Scheduled Hours : 36 8/12 hour shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm. Monday through Friday and every other weekend required and some holidays or to meet staffing needs. ACLS and BLS required MS/Tele experience required Telemetry oncology, cardiac and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience preferred. Inpatient RN travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to. This is a hard requirement. Telemetry Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. Work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to acutely ill surgical and trauma patients in an academic medical and Level 1 Trauma Center. Join a team of remarkable nurses and have the opportunity to care for both general care and IMC level patients in a 26-bed step down unit, where critical thinking and team work is a must. Work in a collaborative environment, where nurses are an integral part of the multidisciplinary team with a strong voice in advocating for quality patient care. Facility Requirement: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location. Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract. Licensure and Certification: Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
