Professional Services Group, Inc.Description:
PSG currently provides school-based services in various districts
in Kenosha, western Kenosha and Racine counties, Walworth County,
West Allis and Washington County; working with children and their
families who are struggling with academic and behavioral concerns
within the school environment.Providing services within the school
increases access to services for families who may not be able to go
to an outpatient clinic on their own. School-Based staff go
directly into the school to provide intervention including
individual and group therapy, education/consultation for school
personnel, and family therapy as needed.We are now accepting
resumes for a part-time, leading to full-time, School Based
Therapists across in our school-based therapy programs.Salary:
$22.00 to $24.00/hour training license, $28.00 to $32.00/hour
licensed. The hourly and salary range is based on experience and
licensure, and is paid over nine months of the school year.
Opportunity to earn additional hourly rate for 3 months of summer.
Plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Interview and
evaluate children and families to complete the intake
process.Assess the therapeutic needs of clients and complete formal
assessments.Formulate, implement, evaluate and review client
treatment plans.Provide psychotherapy in accordance with the
child's treatment plans.Exercise judgment to intervene as an
advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.Demonstrate
knowledge and skill in addressing family system, mental health,
parenting, and alcohol/drug issues through individual, family, or
group counseling.Organize and facilitate structured group,
individual and/or family activities.Provide consultation to the
child's school and school personnel as needed.Provide thorough and
accurate updates on clients and make appropriate recommendations in
regular and special staffings.Attend individual and group
supervision.Coordinate services and maintain communication with all
service providers involved with the clients.Complete proper
documentation as per program standards.
Requirements:
Education and Training:All applicants must possess a Master's
Degree and licensure to provide therapy in the State of
Wisconsin.Must possess a Wisconsin LPC, LPC-IT, APSW, or LCSW or be
eligible to obtain one.Pre-licensed therapists are also welcome to
apply, and supervision is provided as part of the work
environment.Experience:Minimum of 1,000 hours of clinical
experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to
read, speak and write clearly in English.Ability to exercise good
judgment and discretion in establishing work schedule.Must be able
to work cooperatively and collaboratively with the Department of
Human Services and school personnel.Must establish and maintain
productive and professional relationships with clients, colleagues,
school districts, and other community agencies.Must maintain client
confidentiality.Ability to prioritize and make appropriate
decisions.Ability to work independently and effectively manage
time.Must possess strong oral and written communication
skills.Ability to provide culturally, ethnically, and gender
sensitive services.Ability to follow directions and implement
recommendations.Possess creativity in identifying problems and
solutions.Ability to self-motivate and remain on task.Knowledge and
compliance with policies and procedures as detailed in the
personnel policy and procedure manual.Maintain and follow HIPAA
