Froedtert Hospital is an award-winning, Level I adult trauma
center. We are looking for experienced, RNs to join the Critical
Care Team. We are looking for experienced, RNs to join the Critical
Care Team. Opportunities in our Intensive care units are available
in the following depts: Medical ICU (MICU) -The Medical Intensive
Care Unit (MICU) at Froedtert is a high energy, 26-bed critical
care unit. The majority of MICU patients are severely ill and high
acuity, requiring frequent nursing assessment and intervention.
Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) - The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
is a 20-bed, state of the art ICU. We care for medical and surgical
cardiovascular patients, including a large population of Advanced
Heart Failure patients, pre and post heart transplant patients,
those needing short or long term ventricular assist device support,
and patients with cardiopulmonary failure. Surgical ICU (SICU) -
The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Froedert Hospital, is a
21 bed critical care area that cares for some of the most
critically ill patients in the state of Wisconsin and Northern IL.
Transplant ICU (TICU) - Our bright and newly expanded Transplant
Intensive Care Unit is a 20 bed specialty ICU that cares for pre
and post abdominal transplant patients. Neuro ICU (NICU) - The
Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a 20 bed specialty ICU, that
cares for stroke, neurointerventional procedures, neurovascular
surgery, epilepsy, spinal cord injury and brain injury patients. If
