Job Description:
BRP's Marine group aims to increase its presence in the global
marine market. This growth will come through the introduction of
new products that will transform the customer experience to the
next level.As a member of the Marine group's, you will play a key
role in achieving this growth. As a Project Manager you will
improve key process performance through new and innovative business
solutions.ROLE OVERVIEW:The Project Manager is responsible for
managing improvement project(s) from inception to completion. This
includes recruiting project team members, managing the scope and
priorities, foreseeing the risks and delivering according to set
milestones and cost. They will monitor the progress of the project
and provides updates to key stakeholders. In general terms, this
role is an IT Project Manager within the business. In this role,
the new hire will act as the primary liaison and the go-to person
between the business SME, IS and external partners. They will act
as a spokesperson who guides and coaches to ensure that the
project(s) stakeholders understand and contribute appropriately.The
position requires excellent communication skills, extensive
knowledge of the manufacturing business environment and a good
level of systems/software knowledge. The incumbent will work
closely with external partners, IS, and the project delivery
team.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for project(s) delivery
:Oversees the full lifecycle of improvement project(s), from
inception to implementation. .Works with the solution manager,
solution architects, functional and business analysts and program
resources to build and track the project delivery roadmap based on
business priorities as well as technical, financial and resource
capacity dependencies and constraintsOversees and manages the
financial aspects of the projects in collaboration with Marine
Project Controller Officer (PCO)As the liaison between IS, external
partners and the business representatives:Ensure that proper
project management and business analysis methodologies are
followed.Ensures that BRP roles and responsibilities are upheld
during the delivery process (ex: working with strategic sourcing
and legal functions for contract negotiations).Coordinates new
resource sourcing and onboarding for the projects.Conducts regular
risk assessments for projects in the projects.Develops and presents
dashboards and executive presentations on the status of
projects.KEY REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Business,
Management, Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related
discipline.A minimum of 5 years' experience as a project manager
for IT related solution delivery in one or more of the following
functional areas: Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain,
Production, Procurement, Logistics, or Finance is required.Solid
leadership skillsBreadth and in-depth knowledge project manager and
project delivery methodologies including PMI and agile. Solid
understanding and experience with professional Business Analyst
practices.Proven ability to work and collaborate in a complex
environment and effectively influence a diverse team of
stakeholders and business leaders.Ability to travel up to 15% of
the time.PREFERENCES:Master's degree.Experience in the following IT
platforms is an asset: ERP, PLM, and CRM.(BRP platforms are: ERP -
Infor, PLM - PTC Windchill, CRM - Salesforce)Any experience with
acquisitions or integrations within a business. Solid
problem-solving skills.Strong analytical and information processing
skills.Ability to influence, persuade and initiate change.Ability
to set priorities and to perform tasks in a fast-paced
environment.Extensive background in a collaborative, team-run
environment.Good judgment and discretion in dealing with sensitive
situations.Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication
skills.High stress tolerance.French fluency a plus.Work schedule:
Hybrid schedule - with 2 to 3 days in office. First shift position.
