We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Vice President - Commercial Insurance Producer to join our culture of success. The VP - Commercial Insurance Producer works closely with Leadership to grow and retain a profitable book of business.This position is ideal for the producer who has experience working with larger Firms and is looking for a brokerage culture to complement their personal ideals.

Applicants must be driven, self-sufficient, and results-oriented with the ability to explain complex information in a simple and concise manner, they must also be able to multi-task, manage schedules, and clearly communicate policy provisions.

    Key Responsibilities:Identifies prospects that will meet BlueStone's ideal client profile.Set appointments and personally meet with prospects and clients, conduct in-depth dialogue, and develop a positive business relationship.Identifies key decision-makers, clients, or prospect's risks needs and determines the services, products, and combinations that will best serve and address the client/prospect's issues and objectives.Gathers internal and external information including industry risk profile, benchmarking, client strategic goals and objectives, market conditions report on the total cost of risk and current services.Supports sales efforts by adhering to the Firm's Sale Process and providing timely and accurate prospect data to track and monitor activities for management reporting and sales forecasts.Keeps up to date on prospects' current issues, researches new information on prospects.Ensures timeframes and deliverables are met in the sales process.Acts as a visible leader in an industry and actively participates in industry associations, organizations, boards, and charities, as appropriate.Develops and maintains an effective network within the business community and industry.
