Qualitest is looking for a Utility Account Manager in the Chicago or Philadelphia area.

  • Lead and manage targeted sales campaigns for national and international utilities clients
  • Establish meaningful relationships with utilities clients through specific knowledge of their industry and operations
  • Meet with business owners of new and existing processes to understand scope and objectives
  • Understand and manage specific and general requests from multiple business owners at each client and orchestrate meaningful and productive client meetings
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities for clients, focusing on testing, project management, and business analysis as well as other IT and business needs
  • Utilize a solution selling methodology with clear profit margins to meet business needs with appropriate Qualitest services
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of new opportunities
  • Own and respond to client RFIs and RFPs
  • Forecast monthly sales goals, build a substantial pipeline, and produce measurable and significant results
    • Perform project startup, account management, and deliverable review as a part of AM activities
    • Attend networking events and conferences to build clientele relations and community support
      Requirements
      • Five years of relevant work experience selling services or software, preferably services sales to utilities clients (primarily in the US but some international is acceptable)
      • An understanding of quality assurance, testing, and project management, preferably with previous implementation experience
      • Possess an understanding of the challenges related to integrating disparate systems for the desktop
      • Possess a cultural understating of how clients are organized and conduct day-to-day business
      • Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field
      • Must have excellent oral and written presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings, work with business users who validate project results, and access internal subject matter experts when appropriate
      • Must be able to write SOWs and proposals using the latest proposal generation tools
      • Demonstrated record of developing and selling IT Consulting services
      • Ability to travel up to 10%
      • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding a $2.0M yearly sales quota of net new clients while nurturing existing accounts
      • Experience routinely updating and navigating industry leading CRM systems including salesforce
