is seeking a highly motivated an Chemical Process Engineering
Manager will oversee and directly manage individual contributors
within the Chemical Process Systems group of the Chrysalis Project.
This role is designed for a technically proficient and experienced
supervisor who can drive engineering excellence, ensure compliance
to SHINE’s nuclear quality assurance program, manage their team to
the project schedule, and foster team development. The base salary
range for this position is $137,000 - $160,000 per year plus a
comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. Duties and
Responsibilities: Specific duties and responsibilities of the
Chemical Process Engineering Manager include, but are not limited
to: Leadership & Management Manage technical contributors across
Molybdenum generation, extraction, and purification process
systems. Conduct weekly team meetings to review goals, performance
metrics, and provide project updates to engineering management.
Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
Participate in hiring and onboarding processes, ensuring alignment
with technical and cultural expectations. Communicate effectively
with internal teams including Procurement, Construction, and other
Engineering groups. Technical Oversight Own and update the Final
Safety Analysis Report and Technical Specifications for Chemical
Process Systems, ensuring safety changes are submitted to the NRC
in collaboration with Corporate Licensing. Approve engineering
documents by ensuring viable technical methods are used in the
engineering documents, auditing for procedural compliance, and
ensuring alignment with project goals. Represent Engineering in
Compliance Action Tracking Committee meetings. Provide
subject-matter expertise and training for new hires and
temporary/transition personnel. Project & Schedule Management
Develop and maintain project schedules with work tasks and
milestones. Conduct weekly and quarterly reviews of schedule tasks
to identify gaps and optimize timelines. Work with Project Controls
to update the schedule activities in Primavera P6. Decision Making
Drive appropriately scoped decision-making within the team.
Leverage risk-based techniques to make independent technical
decisions. Align team focus with organizational vision and
communicate critical decisions to leadership. Feedback & Continuous
Improvement Seek regular feedback from management and incorporate
it into performance improvements. Maintain availability to remove
roadblocks and support team success. Requirements: Required
Qualifications: PhD in Chemical Engineering or related field, or 15
years of experience in chemical engineering, preferably in
molybdenum extraction or similar processes. Proven ability to
develop subject-matter expertise across diverse systems. Strong
understanding of licensing basis and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities. Experience with
schedule planning tools (e.g., P6). Familiarity with document
approval processes and procedural auditing. Ability to engage
constructively with peers and stakeholders. Personal Attributes:

professional presence. Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
Requires frequent leaning, bending, stooping, crouching, grasping,
and reaching above the shoulders and below the knees. Moderate
physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up
to 40 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4)
hours per day. Fine motor coordination and strong depth perception
is beneficial. Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements,
such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant
odors, and/or loud noises. Work environment involves some exposure
to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety
precautions. Employees must be able to perform the essential
