Job Description:
Description: At Weldall Manufacturing, we specialize in
high-quality welding and fabrication. We are seeking an Engineering
Programmer to support CNC programming and manufacturing
documentation within our Engineering Department. This role plays a
critical part in ensuring precise, cost-effective production and
reliable manufacturing processes in a dynamic job shop environment.
Key Responsibilities - Program CNC equipment (Tanaka lasers,
Kinetic burn tables) using Sigmanest. - Develop internal bills of
material (BOMs) and manufacturing process documentation. - Create
and maintain detailed drawings and revision-controlled
documentation. - Generate material take-offs and run times to
support estimating and job costing. - Collaborate with engineers,
estimators, suppliers, and shop personnel to support design
changes, improve productivity, and reduce operating costs. -
Provide technical support for CNC operators and assist with
troubleshooting programming issues on the shop floor. - Maintain
accurate records of programs, tooling, drawings, and process
changes. - Evaluate variances between estimated and actual
production operations and coordinate with Estimating and
Engineering to resolve discrepancies. - Support ISO 9001 quality
initiatives and documentation standards. - Contribute to process
improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Requirements: Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in
Engineering, Programming, or related technical field preferred.
Equivalent experience will be considered. - Minimum of 5 years
programming experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment.
Technical Competencies: - Proficient in Sigmanest, and SolidWorks
(2019 or newer). - Familiarity with ISO 9001 and job shop
production processes. - Strong blueprint reading skills; GD&T
knowledge a plus. - Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and
Adobe products. Soft Skills: - Excellent organization,
communication, and problem-solving abilities. - Able to work
independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. -
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Weldall
