Job Description:

Design EngineerWe are seeking a /Design Engineer to join our growing Company and fast paced Engineering group. -Applicants should possess at least an Associate's Degree in Engineering; a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred. Recent, hands-on CAD design experience-SolidWorks required. Experience with an -ERP system preferred. Metal fabrication experience and work with metals required.Job Responsibilities:Serves customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.Job Duties: - - - - - - - - - Establishes a good rapport with the company's sales force and customers, to help develop an understanding of product requirements. -Ability to provide timely responses to sale person and customer inquiries. Acts as a technical resource. - - - - - - - - - Prepares cost estimates by studying drawings and related customer documents, Demonstrates technical knowledge and the ability to provide CAD drawing for new and existing parts. - - - - - - - - - Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services. - - - - - - - - - Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements. - - - - - - - - - Ability to provide customers and sales people with quotes considering technical requirements. - - - - - - - - - Develops customer's staff by providing technical information and training. - - - - - - - - - Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends. - - - - - - - - - Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.Skills and Qualifications:Problem Solving, Product Knowledge, Selling to Customer Needs, Ability to use Solidworks and EPR systems.
